Enable the Assignment under Content Type Availability

It does happen that the instructor cannot add the assignment because the Select Section it is not available under Assignment Content Area.To have the Select Section available where the instructor can enable the Assignment go to Control Panel > Manage Tools > Content Type Availability > enable Assignment

Starting Notify from the Windows Start Menu

Notify is a program that works with GroupWise to alert you when you have new items placed in your Mailbox, or when you have an upcoming appointment.

Once Notify is activated, certain features are initiated:

GroupWise Windows Client that is available to download on the IT Website: http://it.laguardia.edu.

You may log on with your GroupWise ID and password to get the software.
After you log in, click on desktop software on the left side of the page.
Under free software, click on GroupWise 8.0 and follow the instructions to install the software.
