Blackboard 8 - Issues with timed quizzes?

January 23, 2010 by Admin

blackboard1.gif Some users have reported intermittent problems when attempting timed quizzes in Blackboard while using Internet Explorer 8. The reported issue results in the submit and save buttons on the quiz being blocked by the quiz timer, preventing the user from submitting the quiz. Users experiencing this problem can usually resolve the issue by selecting ‘Compatibility Mode’ from the ‘Tools’ drop down menu in IE8, and accessing the quiz again. Alternatively, other web browsers, such as Firefox 3 should work without issue.
